What happens when your account is deleted

Data that is permanently deleted

  • Your account and associated personal information (name, email, phone number, password, profile photo).
  • Your profile and account data — it will no longer be accessible in the app or on our servers.
  • For business accounts: your business profile, services, staff details, images and content you have uploaded.
  • Loyalty balance (BizPoints), saved businesses, favourites and recommendation lists.
  • Chat messages and in-app communications tied to your account.

Data that may be retained

Certain information may be retained for the minimum period required by law before being permanently deleted. This includes:

  • Payment records and invoices required to comply with Australian tax and financial record-keeping law (typically 5–7 years).
  • Financial transaction records held by our payment processor (Stripe), including successful payments, refunds and chargebacks.
  • Records required for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or compliance with a legal obligation, court order or lawful request.
  • Anonymised or aggregated data that cannot reasonably be used to identify you.
Note: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, you will lose access to any active bookings, memberships, BizPoints balance and business data associated with it.
